~Pictures of Infinity

HD digital video. 75 mins. (in development)
More than 100 years ago the great scientist, engineer and inventor Nikola Tesla predicted the current environmental crisis and knew we would need a radical solution. He devoted the last part of his life to providing one, with his discovery of a new source of energy that exists throughout the universe and his invention that taps into it by tuning a transmitter to the natural frequencies of the earth, based on an entirely new understanding of physics. Tesla’s ideas were so advanced for that time, and challenging to mainstream science, that all funding for his projects was withdrawn and his name disappeared from the history books. Against all odds he dedicated his life to designing technology for the service and advancement of humanity.
Tesla called this mysterious new energy source the ‘aether’ or ‘the wheelwork of nature’ and it’s presence as part of the cosmic fabric of nature has now been confirmed by the scientific community as ‘zero point energy’, ‘dark energy’, and ’space energy’.
Long veiled in secrecy, the film will explore the work of a small and dedicated group of scientists and inventors around the world who are reproducing Tesla’s experiments and taking this research further. They are convinced this new source of energy has the potential to rid the earth of radioactive nuclear waste, massive oil spills, acid rain, the destruction of forests, and may also have the potential in the field of medicine to prevent and treat illnesses.
Pictures of Infinity will illuminate the profoundly ecological view of science revealed by these researches and inventions, making the principles it is based on both visible and audible.
The film weaves together three essential elements: dramatizations of key moments in Nikola Tesla’s life, revealing his deep connection to the natural world; the work of contemporary scientists and inventors who are taking Tesla’s work further; and poetic and musical representations of this new concept of energy made with computer-generated images, documentary images of the natural environment, and with original music based on acoustic principles of resonance and vibration.
